Roderick Campbell has spent the past ten years
working
on the oil rigs of Alberta, but his camera is
never far
from his hand and keen eye.
I've enjoyed taking pictures
for a number of years...ever since I borrowed my Dads old
Pentax 35mm camera. But, in the last 15 years, it has
gotten a little bit more serious. I have climbed water
towers to take time-lapse (and chased by the police in the
process.), I have stood in fields during violent
thunderstorms and almost got zapped by lightening. I will
do whatever it takes to strive for that perfect shot. I use
a Canon Digital Rebel 6.3m with a 18-55mm lens and 75-300mm
zoom. After being told for years by family and friends that
I have a good eye, it finally sunk in and now I would like
to share my pictures with you. I hope you enjoy these
pictures as much as I enjoyed traveling and taking them.
And, yes where ever I go, my camera is by my side. There is
nothing I would enjoy more (besides riding my Harley) than
taking pictures for a living. I welcome any emails,
rod@roderickcampbell.com,with your comments
and inquiries. Please check out my pictures on
